PHOTO PRESENTATION

On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms; 2 double rooms with bathrooms on suite and 2 more bedrooms with a capacity of 4 people in each.

In the suite named, "water room", from the balcony you can appreciate the waterfall and Alberca (swimming pool), with lovely views of the valley and the mountains listening to the sweet sound of water, a balmy and pleasant way to sleep.

The other suite, "sunset", has a very nice small terrace which overlooks the lower patio containing the water channel. The views of the valley and mountains offer you a perfect position to watch the sun go down, whilst enjoying the rythmic sound of flowing water.

The other two bedrooms share a large bathroom, which has direct access from either room. Each of these bedrooms have 4 single beds, 2 being attic beds constructed with plenty of character among the roof beams. From the balcony and window of these rooms, you over look the valley where the river flows.

Obviously, this lovely country house couldn't have been named more appropiately, Molino del Agua. It´s possible that in the past the Molino could have been named Molino de la Luz (Mill of light), due to the fact that the house faces south, maximizing the light and offering lovely views, or simply it could have been named Molino de la Paz (Mill of Peace).

ACTIVITIES

The house is located in a perfect position for lovers of hill walking, cycling and other free time activities. We are on the edge of a valley known as Campo del Oro (Gold country) because of the rich selection and variety of aromatic plants, birds and fertile lands, with the Vinalopo river running through the valley and passing just in front of our door.

Crossing at this point is the P.R. cv 35, one of the romanic routes, now travelled by many walkers. This route can also take you to many different and interesting places. The Molino is situated between two natural parks offering a great variety of activities such as guided walks, horse riding, balloon flights, etc.

The closest village to us is 1 km, Banyeres de Mariola, here you will find all aminities; super markets, chemists, etc. A local Market also exists containing a large variety of vegetables and fruits of the area. Olive oil, honey, "herbero" (liqueur of anis mixed with aromatic plants), jams, good wines, etc. There is also a variety of bars and restaurants over looked by the Castle of St.George.

Other villages of interest within 20 km include Biar, Alcoy, Bocairent, Agres, Villena, Cocentaina, etc. Here you can find plenty of historical architecture and culture, with castles, monasteries, Arab caves, ice wells and early bull rings. Every year these villages celebrate the Moros and Cristianos festivals, where you can get a real feeling of the culture, among the excitement of colour, music and theatre, all paraded and performed in the streets,a pure exhibition of fine textils, good wine, food and plenty of Herbero.
